Leo Grombkowski
Leo Grombkowski, 86, of 233 E. Ridge St., Lansford, formerly of Newark, N.J., died Sunday in ManorCare Health Services, Pottsville. He was the husband of Blanche (Lik) Galas Grombkowski.
He was a retired maintenance employee of the Greenpoint Savings Bank, Brooklyn, N.Y.
Born in Long Island, N.Y., he was a son of the late Stanley and Mary (Rogalski) Grombkowski.
He was a member of St. Jerome Catholic Church, Tamaqua.
Grombkowski was an Army veteran of World War II.
Surviving in addition to his widow are two stepdaughters, Frances, wife of Jack Triano of Andreas, and Kathleen Skulitz of Venice, Fla.; a stepson, Walter Galas in New Hampshire; 13 stepgrandchildren and 11 stepgreat-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Charles, Harry and Edward; and a sister, Helen Andreas.
The Zizelmann-Roche Funeral Home, 500 E. Broad St., Tamaqua, is in charge of the arranements.
